The Bemrose Bursary Recital Scheme was set up in memory of Sir Max Bemrose, a former President of Music at Duffield. Each year we ask the Royal Northern College of Music, one of the world’s leading music conservatoires, to choose one or more of their most talented students to give a recital for Music at Duffield. For over 20 years we have had some wonderful concerts and seen performers go on to build national and international careers. This year we welcome Holly Melia, who has won the RNCM Concerto Competition as well as an RNCM Gold Medal, and Syuzanna Kaso, who is a Hungarian pianist born in the Ukraine.

Sponsored by the Bemrose Bursary Trust.

To be finalised but likely to include pieces for flute and piano by JS Bach, Schubert & Jacob Gade, as well as flute solos and solo piano pieces - Chopin Mazurkas or Schubert Impromptus.
