Marcus Farnsworth was awarded first prize in the 2009 Wigmore Hall International Song Competition. We heard him singing at an English Song Festival Recital in Tardebigge with Iain Burnside (of Radio 3 fame) in 2010 and, as soon as he became available through the Countess of Munster scheme, knew that we must invite him to sing for us at Duffield. Despite his career beginning to take off he was keen to come and sing for us. Come and listen to a fine singer at the beginning of what promises to be a long and successful career.
